The Devil’s Advocate is a bar & restaurant in the historic and atmospheric Old Town of Edinburgh. Situated in an old Victorian pump house hidden away up Advocate’s Close. Featuring a mezzanine dining area and a 300 strong whisky shelf, our food menu boasts seasonal and Scottish ingredients that change regularly. We are open 7 days between 12pm and 12am Sunday to Thursday and 12pm to 1am Friday and Saturday. Food is served from Midday until 9.30pm. Our Terrace is open from Midday until 10pm. Please note, guests under 18 years old must be dining & accompanied by an adult. Due to the historic location, there are a number of stairs to gain access to The Devil’s Advocate so will not be accessible to everyone. We also welcome dogs on our terrace and in the bar but unfortunately they cannot be accommodated in the restaurant.
